Sophie is in 4th year studying biology, but has always been a theatre fan and has done multiple productions throughout her life. She's excited to be treasurer this year!
As Treasurer, Sophie will:  

a) keep records of all spending within the Society in accordance with DSU regulations;

b) prepare the annual budget for the Society and present it for approval to the membership as specified by this Constitution;

c) obtain the budget for each Society production and present it for approval to the Executive;

d) advise the organizers of a production seeking Society approval on how to prepare their budget for submission to the Executive;

e) report the current financial status of the Society at each general meeting, making clear the relationship with approved budgets;

f) be responsible for managing the Society bank account; and prepare and issue an audit to be received by DASSS
